Since we opened in 1998, we have helped over 95% of the children we have cared for flourish and exceed prior expectations.

We are proud of the fact that we still have staff with us today who were present when our very first child arrived and that child still stays in touch with us to this day, as do many of the young people we have cared for.

We want to work in partnership with the Young person, Local Authorities, Education, Health, Ofsted, families and any other agencies that can improve the outcome of a looked after child.

Emma stayed with St Nicholas Lodge from 2000 to 2004 and said this about the home she stayed in:

"The great thing about St. Nicholas Lodge is you are never bored."

"I am studying Health and Social Care so that I can become a Residential Social Worker. I know from my experiences that I have a lot to offer people in the same situation as I was. But I know that this is down to the staff at St. Nicholas Lodge." 

"When I pass my college course and have a good job I will know that it was their determination and my hard work that got me here today."
